We meet in the Observation Building at the top of Hallorans Hill, with the Tablelands spread out below. Come as you are, bring the kids, and stay for a cuppa afterwards.

What a Sunday looks like
We open the Bible
Each week works through Scripture together, reading it aloud and talking it through, so you leave having actually understood a passage, not just heard about one.
We pray
Prayer is part of the service, not a bookend. There is room to share what is going on in your life and be prayed for.
We worship
Music from Double Edge Worship and familiar hymns and songs, sung as a congregation, not performed at one.
We keep it family friendly
Kids are part of the church, not a distraction from it. No one will mind if yours wander, wriggle or ask questions.

Minister, Bible Prayer Faith Ministry
Rev Makoti is a trained Methodist minister who leads the Sunday gathering at Hallorans Hill. His approach is grounded in the Wesleyan tradition: Scripture read carefully, faith lived practically, and a congregation that learns together rather than listens passively.

Bible Prayer Faith Ministry is closely linked with Double Edge Worship, a Christian music project producing worship songs in the Pentecostal and Methodist traditions. The music you hear on a Sunday is on the streaming platforms, so you can take it home with you.

Yes. Our Sunday service is run as a group Bible study rather than a lecture. We read Scripture together, discuss it and pray. No prior knowledge is needed and questions are encouraged.
Is it family friendly? Can I bring my kids?
Yes. Children stay in the service with their families. Kids who wriggle, wander or ask questions are part of church, not a problem.

What denomination are you?
We are an independent Christian ministry led by a Methodist-trained minister. Our worship draws on Methodist and Pentecostal traditions, and we welcome believers from any church background, and people with no church background at all.
Do I need to be a Christian to come?
No. If you are curious, searching, or just want to open a Bible with other people, you are welcome. There is no dress code, no cost and no pressure.
